Çok Boyutlu Sürdürülebilir Kalkınmışlık Paradigmalarına Doğru: İnterdisipliner Bir Perspektif

Abstract

Sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramı 1972 yılında ilk kez gündeme gelmiş olsa da bu kavramın küresel anlamda bilimsel bir çerçeveye oturtulması 1987 yılında yapılan Birleşmiş Milletler Dünya Çevre ve Kalkınma Komisyonu'nun yayımladığı 'Ortak Geleceğimiz' (Brundtland Raporu) ile olmuştur. Rapor, sürdürülebilirlik kavramına evrensel bir tanım kazandırmış ve kavramı 'bugünün ihtiyaçlarını, gelecek kuşakların kendi ihtiyaçlarını karşılama olanaklarından ödün vermeden karşılamak' şeklinde yorumlamıştır. Buna ilişkin olarak bu çalışma, sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın tanımını, sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın hangi paradigmalar çerçevesinde ele alındığını ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın amaçları ile boyutlarının neler olduğu sorularına interdisipliner bir araştırma ile detaylı yanıtlar aramayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, kalkınma ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma olguları incelenmektedir. Ayrıca çalışmada niteliksel araştırma postülatları üzerine temellendirilmiş kavramsal, fenomenolojik birtakım yöntemsel yaklaşımlar benimsenmiş olup gerek dijital ortamda gerekse çeşitli kütüphanelerde söz konusu kavram ya da olgularla ilintili olan önemli bir bilgi repertuarı ve literatür içerisinde ortaya konulmuş argümantasyonlar ayrıca sosyal bilimsel, eğitim bilimsel ve filozofik bir perspektifle ve belgesel tarama düzleminde ele alınarak yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, fakirlik olgusuna ilişkin genel teorik çerçeve ele alınacaktır. İkinci bölümde, kalkınma ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramlarının tanımları yapılıp, kavramların tarihçesi incelenmiştir; ayrıca bu bölümde sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın amaçlarına ve boyutlarına yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde eğitim ve kalkınma arasındaki ilişki incelenip, sürdürülebilir kalkınmada eğitim, öğretim uygulamalarına yer verilmiştir. Son bölümde ise sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın genel uygulamalarına değinilmiştir.the concept of sustainable development first came to the agenda in 1972, the concept was placed in a universal and official framework with the 'Our Common Future' (Brundtland Report) published by the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development in 1987. The report provided a global definition for the concept of sustainability and interpreted the concept as 'meeting today's needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs'. In this regard, this study aims to seek detailed answers to the questions of the definition of sustainable development, within which paradigms sustainable development is addressed, and what the goals and dimensions of sustainable development are through an interdisciplinary research. In this context, the phenomena of development and sustainable development are examined. In addition, a number of conceptual and phenomenological methodological approaches based on qualitative research postulates were adopted in the study, and an important repertoire of information and arguments put forward in the literature related to the concepts or phenomena in question, both in the digital environment and in various libraries, were evaluated and interpreted from a social scientific, educational and philosophical perspective and on the documentary scanning plane. The study consists of four sections. The first section will address the general theoretical framework regarding the phenomenon of poverty. The second section defines the concepts of development and sustainable development and examines their history. This section has also addressed the objectives and dimensions of sustainable development. The third section examines the relationship between education and development, addressing educational practices in sustainable development. The final section addresses the general practices of sustainable development.
