Poets in Evliya Celebi’s Seyahatname

Abstract

?Evliyâ Çelebi Seyahatnâmesi'nde Şairler? adı altında yaptığımız bu çalışma, Türk kültür tarihimizin çok önemli kaynaklarından biri olan Seyahatnâme de yapılan şair taramasıdır.17. yüzyılda Evliyâ Çelebi tarafından kaleme alınan, tarihten coğrafyaya, mimariden sanata pek çok alana kaynaklık eden Seyahatnâme, edebiyat tarihimizin de önemli kaynakları arasında yer almaktadır. Bu yönüyle ele alıp incelediğimiz Seyahaynâme'nin Yapı Kredi Yayınları esas alınarak yapılan bu çalışmada, eserin 10 cildinde tek tek şair biyografileri aranmıştır. Yaptığımız arama sonucunda Evliyâ Çelebi'nin, şair biyografilerini farklı şekiller de tasnif ettiği görülmüş ve çalışmada Çelebi'nin tasnifine sadık kalınmıştır.Her bir ciltte yapılan tarama sonunda elde edilen bilgiler, ulaşılan şair ve şair biyografileri olduğu gibi Seyahatnâme'deki tasniflerine ve ciltlere göre çalışmaya kaydedilmiştir. Şair ve şair biyografileriyle ilgili kaydedilen her bilgi, önce eserdeki hâliyle sonrasında da günümüz Türkçesi'ne aktarılmış haliyle sunulmuştur.Çalışmamızın sonunda da Seyahatnâme'de ulaştığımız şairler ve bu şairler hakkındaki bilgiler bir tablo hâline getirilerek tez içindeki bilgilere ulaşım kolaylığı sağlanmıştır.This study, conducted under the name of ?Poets in Evliya Celebi?s Seyahatname?, is a poet research carried out in Seyahatname which is a very important source of our Turkish culture history.Seyahatname, written by Evliya Celebi in 17th century, is also among the sources of our own history of literature, providing resources for many fields from history to geography from architecture to art. In the study that is based on The Yapı Kredi Publications of Seyahatname and that we discussed and researched with those aspects, it is searched for the biographies of the poets one by one in each volume. As a result of our research, it is appeared that Evliya Celebi classifies the biographies of the poets in different ways and it is adhered to Evliya Celebi?s classification in the study.The information obtained at the end of our analyses of each volume is recorded to the study in accordance with the classifications and volumes in Seyahatname, as such the poets and the biographies of the poets found. All information recorded about the poets and the biographies of the poets are first presented in their original form in the book, and then they are adapted to today?s Turkish.Finally at the end of our study, by tabularizing all the information about the poets and the biographies of the poets found in the book, a convenience of access to the information in the thesis is provided.
