Abstract
The Electronic Literature Organization (ELO) is a pioneer of literature-technology studies. According to ELO, all elements of computer-assisted literature are evolving, such as reading and writing styles, the reality of the work, and related elements. Writers and readers from Generation Z and Alpha create literature on a virtual basis using augmented reality, digital media, and a visual literacy model. " Language, the primary tool of literary studies, is also evolving from formulaic language to visual and techno-language. In her publication on formulaic language, Alison Wray notes that "online speakers use expressions stored in memory rather than creating new expressions through language processing. This idea is valid for a certain group of online speakers and text producers. In this study, issues related to e-folklore and language are explored discussed through the example of memory and the place of technology in creating meaning; Formulaic language and "Verbal Formula Theory" were used in verbal language studies in folk literature, and "Visual Language Theory" was used in visual-techno-language studies in electronic literature. According to the obtained data, Wray's conclusion is found to be valid for generations born before the 1990s. Digital natives use the visualtechno language system. We conclude that, in addition to formulaic language, visual-techno language structuring should also be considered for the creation of memory and meaning for electronic literature.
