A single specimen of S umbra with the maximum size (41.7 cm in total length and 180.00 g in total length) was caught from Ibrice Bight (Sams Bay) with hand line by fisherman on 20 April 2013. The weight-length relationship was calculated as W = 0.0268TL(2.79) for all samples.
