Çoklu faktör analizi, sürekli (nitel) veya kategorik (nicel) değişken içeren tabloların birleştirilerek, eşzamanlı analiz edilmesini sağlayan ve değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler için rakamsal sonuçların yanı sıra, iki boyutlu uzayda görsel sonuçlar da sunan çok değişkenli analiz yöntemlerinden birisidir. Bu çalışmada, Çoklu faktör analizi tanıtılarak, konu ile ilgili uygulama yapılmıştır. Uygulamada, serbest erişimli siteden sağlanan ve 10 değişken içeren veri seti kullanılmıştır. Veri seti, içermiş olduğu değişkenlere göre üç ve iki tablo şeklinde analiz edilmiştir. Analizlerde XLSTAT istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, farklı tipteki (kategorik ve sürekli) değişkenleri içeren tabloların birleştirilerek, birlikte analiz edilmesine imkân sağlayan ve rakamsal sonuçların yanı sıra, iki boyutlu uzayda görsel sonuçlar da sunarak yorumlama kolaylığı sağlayan Çoklu faktör analizinin uygulamalarda tercih edilebileceği vurgulanmıştır.Multiple Factor Analysis and Application. Multiple factor analysis is one of the multivariate analysis methods that provides simultaneous analysis of tables containing continuous (qualitative) or categorical (quantitative) variables, and provides visual results in two-dimensional space as well as numerical results for the relationships between variables. In this study, Multiple factor analysis was introduced and an application regarding with the method was performed. In the application, a data set containing 10 variables, which was obtained from the free access website, was used. The data set was analyzed with considering as three and two tables according to the included variables. XLSTAT statistical package program was used in the analysis.
