Araştırmada öğretmen, öğrenci,öğretim süreci, aile ve dışsal olanakların oluşturduğu etmenlerin matematik öğretimive öğrenci başarısı üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir.Araştırmada öğrencilerin, başarıyı etkilediği düşünülen etmenlere verdiklericevaplara göre şu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir:1- Okul türü, sınıf seviyesi ailelerin maddi durumu, ders çalışma süreleri,ders çalışma yöntemlerine göre başarıyı etkileyen etmenler arasındaanlamlı farklılıklar vardır.2- Matematik dersini başarma tutumlarına göre öğrencilerin matematikdersi konularının zorluğu hakkındaki düşünceleri ve başarı seviyelerifarklıdır.3- Öğretmenlerin dikkat çekme davranışına göre, öğrencilerin dersekatılımları arasında farklılıklar vardır.4- Ödevlerini yapma durumuna göre öğrencilerin matematik başarılarınaetkisi arasında anlamlı farklılıklar vardır.5- Temel matematik bilgi düzeyleri öğrencilerin, dersi başarmaya ilişkintutumlarını, başarı seviyelerini, ödev yapmalarını ve dersi anlamadüzeylerini etkilemektedir.6- Ailelerinin destek ve sevgisi öğrencilerin ödev yapma durumunu vebaşarıya olan inançlarını fazla etkilememektedir.7- Ailesinde yüksek öğretimde okumuş birey bulunan öğrencilerinmatematiği başarmaya inancı daha fazladır.8- Dershaneler matematik başarısını etkilemektedir.Anahtar kelimeler: Başarı düzeyi, Etmen, Matematik öğretimi,i2ABSTRACTTHE FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE SUCCESS OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION OF 6th,7th,8thGRADES IN PRIMARY SCHOOLSTAŞ, SelmaMsc, Elemantry Schools Science and Mathematics Education Department.Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ekrem SAVAŞOctober 2005. 141 pagesThis study has been researched to examine the factors that effect mathematics education in primarygrades of 6th ,7th and 8th.
