The tincalore, one of the important boron minerals, is extracted around Eskişehir in Turkey. Herein, weinvestigated the kinetics of dissolution in different parameters such as concentration, particle size, solid/ liquid ratio, mixing speed and reaction temperature in the ammonium acetate solution of tincal mineral.As a result, boric acid production obtained by dissolution of tincal mineral in amunium acetate solutionincreased with temperature increase.
