Çalışmanın örneklem grubunu 10 kontrol,10 deney grubu olmak üzere 20 hafif derecede zihinsel engelli öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Tesadüfi örneklem yöntemi ile öğrenciler iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Kontrol grubunun yaş ortalamaları 10,90±2,28 yıl; deney grubunun yaş ortalamaları 11,80±1,47 yıldır. Deney grubuna 12 hafta süreyle haftada 2 gün eğlenceli atletizm eğitim programı uygulanmış, kontrol grubuna bu sürede eğlenceli atletizm eğitimi uygulanmamıştır. Tüm katılımcıların motor becerilerini 'Brian Mackenzie 101 Performance Evaluation Tests ve MEB Psikomotor Beceriler Kaba Değerlendirme Formu ön ve son testlerde ölçülmüştür. Ebeveynler için stres algısını (ASÖ) Algılanan Stres Ölçeği ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel analizler sonucunda veriler normal dağılım göstermediği için parametrik olmayan istatistiksel yöntemlerden Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıra Test İstatistiği ve tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak alınmıştır. Ayrıca analiz sonuçları incelendiğinde deney grubunun motor beceri testlerinden altıgen engel, yan yön değiştirme,505 çeviklik, zig-zag, çeviklik ''T'' drill, hızlı ayak, duvar squat duruşu, kalça-gövde statik esneklik, gövde-boyun statik esneklik, el pençe kuvvet, sağlık topu, sıçrama testlerinde son test puanlarının lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur (p<0.05) Deney grubunda denge sağ göz açık testlerinde, leylek duruşu sol göz açık performanslarında anlamlı gelişme tespit edilmiştir. Kontrol grubuna uygulanan Mackenzie 101 Performans testlerinde kontrol grubunda ön test son test uygulamalarında anlamlı gelişmeThis research was carried out with the aim of 'Investigating the Effects of the 12-Week Fun Athletics Program on the Motor Developments of Children aged 10-14 years with Mild Intellectual Disability, and the Effects of Parents on Multidimensional Support and Stress Perceptions'. The sample group of the study consisted of 20 mildly mentally retarded students, 10 of which were in the control group and 10 in the experimental group. The students were divided into two groups by the random sampling method. The mean age of the control group was 10.90±2.28 years; The mean age of the experimental group was 11.80±1.47 years. An entertaining athletics training program was applied to the experimental group 2 days a week for 12 weeks, while entertaining athletics training was not applied to the control group during this period. The motor skills of all participants were measured in the Brian Mackenzie 101 Performance Evaluation Tests and the MoNE Psychomotor Skills Rough Evaluation Form in the pre- and post-tests. Perceived Stress Scale and Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale were used for parents' perception of stress (PSO). Since the data did not show normal distribution as a result of the statistical analyzes, non-parametric statistical methods, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test Statistics and descriptive statistics were used. The significance level of the study was taken as p<0.05. In addition, when the results of the analysis were examined, the motor skill tests of the experimental group were hexagonal obstacle, lateral deflection, 505 agility, zig-zag, agility 'T' drill, fast foot, wall squat stance, hip-trunk static flexibility, trunk-neck static flexibility, A significant difference was found in favor of posttest scores in hand claw strength, medicine ball and jump tests (p<0.05). In the experimental group, a significant improvement was detected in the balance right eye open tests and the stork posture left eye open performances. No significant difference was found in the experimental group balance light-eye left and closed eye right-left tests and stork posture, right eye open and right-left eye closed pre- and post-test application. In the control group, there was no significant difference in favor of pre- and post-test scores in balance right-left eye open iv and right-left eye-closed performances and stork posture, right-left eye open and right-left eye-closed performances. In the Mackenzie 101 Performance tests applied to the control group, no significant improvement was detected in the pre-test and post-test applications in the control group. There was improvement in gross and fine motor skills in the experimental group. However, no significant improvement was detected in gross and fine motor skills in the control group. In the experimental group, an improvement was detected in perceived stress and multidimensional perceived social support in families. (p<0.05). There was a significant difference in perceived stress in families in the control group (p<0.05). However, no significant difference was found in the perception of multidimensional perceived social support. Entertaining athletics not only increased the motor skills of mentally retarded children, but also positively affected the families' perceptions of stress and the development of multidimensional support perceptions. As a result, it was determined that the 12-week fun athletics training program had a positive effect on the motor skills of students with mild mental retardation at primary education level, as well as a positive effect on the families' perception of stress and multidimensional support.
