In this study, hyaluronidase, collagenase and elastase inhibitory potential relevant to wound healing activities of ethanol extracts from the roots of ten Ferulago species [F. cassia Boiss., F. humilis Boiss., F. isaurica Pesmen, F. longistylis Boiss., F. mascrosciadia Boiss. & Balansa, F. sandrasica Pesmen & Quezel, F. setifolia K. Koch., F. silaifolia (Boiss.) Boiss., F. trojana Akalin & Pimenov formerly known as F. sylvatica (Besser) Rchb. and F. syriaca Boiss.] were investigated. Ethanol extracts of F. mascrosciadia and F. syriaca were the most active ones against collagenase and elastase, respectively.
