Bu çalışmada, Bitlis ili odun dışı orman ürünleri tür düzeyinde belirlenmiş ve halkın topladığı bitkilerin hangi kısımlarından ne şekilde faydalandıkları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Doğadan toplanan bu ürünlerin tüketim miktarı, ekonomik önemi araştırılmıştır. Yöre halkı ile kurulan iletişimler sonucunda kullanım şekli, kullanılan kısımları belirlenen bitkiler doğadan toplanarak teşhisleri yapılmış ve yetişme ortamlarında görüntülenmiştir, Odun dışı orman ürünlerinin ithalat-ihracat durumu, ülkemizde, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde ve Bitlis yöresi açısından ekonomik açıdan değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, 35 familya 102 bitki taksonu ve 3 mantar türü odun dışı bitkisel orman ürünü olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bitlis yöresinde toplanan odun dışı orman ürünlerinin doğal çay, hayvan yemi, geleneksel ilaç olarak, boya yapımında, sabun, gıda olarak, baharat olarak ve yemeklerde, eşya ve oyuncak şeklinde kullanımı söz konusudurStudies on non-wood forest products, which are becoming increasingly important in our country and in the world, are important in terms of determining the potential of natural resources and using them correctly and efficiently. In this study, non-wood forest products in Bitlis province were determined at the species level and it was tried to determine which parts of the plants collected by the people and how they benefited. The consumption amount and economic importance of these products collected from nature were investigated. As a result of communication with the local people, the plants whose usage patterns and parts used were determined, were collected from nature, identified and displayed in their growing environments. The import-export situation of non-wood forest products has been evaluated economically in terms of our country, the East Anatolian Region and the Bitlis region. As a result of the study, 35 families, 102 plant taxon and 3 mushroom species were identified as non-wood herbal forest products.
