A total of 100 calves were used in this study. The calves belonging to the Igdir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, were diagnosed to have diarrhea on the basis of their clinical and anamnesis. In the microscopic examinations of 100 samples, 34 (34%) Cryptosporidium spp. were detected in Kinyoun's acid-fast whereas in the Nested PCR method it was found 38 (38%).
