Çalısmamızda, kontrol gurubu olarak seçilen 7 ratın korneasında 3 mm lik defektler olusturuldu. Es zamanlı olarak çalısma gurubu olarak seçilen 7 ratın önce agız mukozasında 3 mm lik mukoza defekti meydana getirildi. Çalısma gurubundaki ratların kornealarında 1 hafta sonra 3 mm lik epitel defektleri olusturuldu. Kontrol ve çalısma gurubundaki ratların korneasındaki lezyonların iyilesmesi takip için belli aralıklarla fotograflandı. Lezyon sınırlarının net izlenebilmesi için %5 lik florosein damla kullanıldı. Takipler sonucunda çalısma gurubundaki lezyonlarda 13-22. saatlerde daha hızlı bir iyilesme izlendi. Bu hızlı iyilesme farkı guruplardaki denek azlıgı nedeniyle istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmadı.The aim of this study is to investigate whether the corneal epithelial wound healing rate is increased by epithelial erosion performed elsewhere on the body. In this report, 3 mm-sized defects were performed on the cornea epithelium of 7 rats which were named as the control group. Simultaneously, the defects of the same size were made on the buccal mucosa of the 7 rats in the study group. One week later, 3 mm-sized defects were performed on the cornea epithelium of 7 rats in the study group. To follow up the healing course, photos were taken at certain intervals in the both groups. The lesions were evaluated following 5 % fluoroscein drop instillation. In conclusion, rapid healing of the lesions was observed between 13th and 22nd hours in the study group.
