It is also aimed with this study to put forward the relationship between the Association and sociological thought and organizations in Turkey. The International Association of French Speaking Sociologists (AISLF-Association Internationale des Sociologues de Langue Francaise) is today an important sociological forum with numerous members where problems such as the route of sociological thought, methodological developments, cultural pluralism, new socialities, and local and global social problems are discussed periodically in different countries around the world. One of the countries where AISLF have held meetings is Turkey.
