Dil, bireyler arası iletişimin temel aracı olmasının yanında, kültürel kimliğin korunması ve aktarılmasında da önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir. Türk dili, tarihsel süreçte ürettiği zengin edebi eserler ve köklü geçmişiyle yaşayan en değerli dillerden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Çalışmada, dilin yapısal yönlerinden biri olan söz dizimi kavramsal ve kuramsal açıdan ele alınmış; cümle kuruluşu, kelime grupları ve gramer sistemleri bağlamında şiirlerin yapısı analiz edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda Mustafa Özkan ve Veysi Sevinçli'nin 'Türkiye Türkçesi Söz Dizimi' adlı eseri temel alınarak, şiirlerdeki söz dizimsel yapılar ayrıntılı biçimde değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında, Adilcevazlı ve Ahlatlı toplam on iki şairin elli şiiri söz dizimi açısından analiz edilmiş; şiirlerde geçen deyim, atasözü ve özgün anlatım biçimleri incelenerek Türkçenin söz varlığına katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır.. Yerel ağızların ve bölgesel dil özelliklerinin şiirlere yansıma biçimi de dikkatle ele alınmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, söz konusu şiirlerin yalnızca edebi değil, aynı zamanda dilbilimsel olarak da değerli kaynaklar olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma hem Türkçenin yapısal zenginliğine dair bilimsel veriler sunmakta hem de yerel edebi ürünlerin dilbilimsel incelemeler için taşıdığı potansiyeli vurgulamaktadır. Böylece, Türk dili ve edebiyatı alanındaki araştırmalara teorik ve uygulamalı katkılar sağlaması amaçlanmıştır.This study aims to reveal the linguistic importance of the local literature works by investigating the syntactic characteristics of the Turkish language over the poems of the poets from Adilcevaz and Ahlat. Aside from being the basic tool of communication between individuals, language also plays an important role in the preservation and transmission of the cultural identity. With the rich literature works it has produced throughout the history and its rooted past, the Turkish language is regarded as one of the most valuable living languages. In this study, syntax, which is a structural aspect of the language, has been studied and the structure of the poems has been analyzed in terms of sentence formation, word phrases, and grammar systems. In that regard, the syntactic structures in the poems have been evaluated thoroughly based on the work of Mustafa Ozkan and Veysi Sevincli named 'The Syntax of Turkey's Turkish'. Within the scope of this research, a total of twelve poems of the poets from Adilcevaz and Ahlat have been analyzed in terms of syntax and by investigating the idioms, proverbs and original expressions, a contribution to the lexicon of Turkish has been aimed to be made. The way the local dialects and the characteristics of the local language reflect onto the poems has been handled carefully. The findings obtained have revealed that the poems investigated are valuable resources not only in terms of literature, but also of linguistics. To conclude, this study both provides scientific data about the structural richness of Turkish and highlights the potential the local works of literature possess for linguistic examinations.
