Değişen toplum dengeleriyle birçok yazın türü kaybolmaya yüz tutmuşken romanlar halktan beslendiği için kaybolmanın aksine daha da güçlenerek yazın dünyasındaki yerini korumuşlardır. Halk bilimi unsurları Türk romancıları aracılığıyla gelecek kuşaklara aktarıla gelmişlerdir. Toplumsal unsurları barındırması bakımından romanlar; halkın inanç ve yaşayışlarının yansıtıcısı, aynası durumundadır. Farklı edebi türler içinde dahi olsa halk bilimi unsurları yaşamaya ve aktarılmaya devam etmiştir. Bu romancılardan biri de fantastik roman türünün öncülerinden Barış Müstecaplıoğlu'dur. Müstecaplıoğlu eserlerinde fantastik unsurları; gelenekten beslenerek ve halk bilimi unsurları ile yoğurarak ustalıkla işlemiştir. İçinden çıktığı toplumun değerlerini fantastik bir dünya aracılığı ile eserlerine sentezleyen Müstecaplıoğlu; böylece okuyucuyu eserlerine çekmiş, eserlerine zenginlik ve gerçeklik katmış, geleneksel maddi ve manevi kültür ürünlerini modern edebiyat potasında harmanlamış ve böylelikle yeni imgeler kullanmıştır. Yazar kültür aktarımını eserleri aracılığı ile yapmış ve bu yönüyle de toplumsal bir misyon üstlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada yazara ait yayınlanmış on iki roman incelenmiş olup elde edilen bulgular taşıdıkları halk bilimi unsurları bakımından Sedat Veyis Örnek'in tasnifleri ışığında ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde fantastik, edebiyat ve halk bilimi ilişkisi ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde yazarın hayatı, sanatı hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiş ve eserlerinin tanıtımı yapılarak on iki adet romanının özeti eklenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise; yazarın eserlerinin fantastik dünyası yer alır. Üçüncü bölümde eserlerinde tespit edilen halk bilimi unsurları; açıklamaları ve metinden örnekleri sayfa numaralarıyla verilmiştir. Son olarak çalışmanın değerlendirildiği sonuç kısmı ve kaynakçaya yer verilmiştir.Novels in which social events and relations are told in a realistic way entered our literary world in the 19th century with the Tanzimat era. While many literary genres were on the verge of disappearing with the changing social balances, the novels have preserved their place in the world of literature by getting stronger instead of disappearing because they are fed by the public. Folklore elements have been transferred to future generations by Turkish novelists. In terms of containing social elements, novels are a reflection of the beliefs and lives of the people. Even in different literary genres, folklore elements continued to live and be transferred. One of these novelists is Barış Müstecaplıoğlu, one of the pioneers of the fantastic novel. Müstecaplıoğlu masterfully processed the fantastic elements in his works by kneading them with traditional folklore elements. Synthesizing the values of the society he came from into his works through a fantastic world, Müstecaplıoğlu thus attracted the reader to his works, added richness and reality to his works, blended traditional material and spiritual culture products in the modern literature pot, and thus used new images. The author has done the transfer of culture through his works and has undertaken a social mission in this respect. In this study, twelve published novels belonging to the author have been examined, and the findings have been discussed in the light of the classifications of Sedat Veyis Örnek in terms of folklore elements. In the introduction part of the study, the relationship between fantasy, literature and folklore is discussed. In the first chapter, information about the life and art of the author is given and the summary of his twelve novels is added by introducing his works.The second part evaluates fantastic world of the author's works. In the third part, folklore elements identified in his works; explanations and examples from the text are given with page numbers. Finally, the conclusion part of the study and the bibliography are included.
