Daha sonra bu sitozin Schiff bazının Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), ve Cd(II) tuzlarıyla reaksiyonundan sırasıyla, [Cu(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].4H2O, [Zn(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].4H2O, [Ni(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O,[Co(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O, [Cd(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O metal kompleksleri sentezlendi.
