Dr. Atilla TEMUREylül 2006, 126 sayfaBu çalışma, ilköğretim 6, 7 ve 8. sınıfların fen bilgisi müfredatında yer alan, biyoloji kavramlarının;anlaşılma düzeyinin tespit edilmesi ve anlaşılmama nedenlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçdoğrultusunda; 6.,7. ve 8. sınıflar için 14'er, adet çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluşan biyoloji kavram testlerigeliştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin biyoloji kavramlarının anlaşılması ve önündeki engellerin tespit edilmesiiçin likert tipi anket geliştirilmiştir. Anket sonuçları SAS ve SPSS istatistik programları aracılığıyla analizedilerek sonuçlandırılmıştır. Geliştirilen başarı ve likert tipi anketler Van ili Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı,rastgele seçilmiş sekiz ilköğretim okulunun 6. 7 ve 8. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 710 öğrenciye, 2004-2005eğitim-öğretim ikinci yarıyılında uygulanmıştır.
