A single specimen of L. mormyrus with maximum length (35.2 cm in total length and 400.00 g in total weight) was caught with trammel nets by fisherman on 15 December 2018. The weight-length relationship was calculated as W = 0.0335TL2.68 for all samples. The aim of this study is to present the maximum size record of the species for the Turkish seas. © 2019, Centenary University.
