Bu keşfiyle özellikle erken yaş çalgı eğitimine yeni bir boyut kazandırmış ve bunu “Yetenek Eğitimi” olarak adlandırmıştır. Yetenek Eğitimi adı altında geliştirdiği Suzuki Yöntemini diğer geleneksel çalgı yaklaşımlarından ayıran en önemli unsurlardan biri de grup dersleridir. Grup dersleri Suzuki Yönteminin dünya genelinde yaygınlaşması ve büyük ilgi görmesinin sebeplerinden biri olarak görülmektedir. Suzuki tarafından oluşturulan ortak bir repertuvar çerçevesinde yapılan grup çalışmaları dünyadaki tüm Suzuki öğrencilerini biraraya getirerek çeşitli konser, dinleti ve festival gibi etkinlikleri sergileme olanağı sağlamaktadır. Literatür incelendiğinde Suzuki Yöntemi’nin önemli bir parçası olan grup dersleri ile ilgili yapılan yayınların sınırlı ve az sayıda olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sebeple Suzuki Yöntemi’nde grup derslerini bütün yönleriyle açıklamak ve alanyazına katkı sağlamak bu çalışmanın oluşumuna yön vermiştir. Bu çalışma bir derleme çalışmasıdır. Çalışma verileri grup dersine ilişkin alanyazın taraması sonucunda ulaşılan kaynaklardan elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada grup dersleri sosyal öğrenme, oyunla öğrenme, motivasyon-dikkat, müzikal deneyim ve karakter gelişimi olmak üzere farklı konular bakımından incelenmiş; dersin yeri ve önemine değinilmiştir. Ayrıca; grup dersinin içeriğine, işlenişine ve nasıl planlanlandığına ilişkin açıklamalar yapılmış; grup içi etkinliklere yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.Shinichi Suzuki is a violin educator who discovered that children can learn and speak their mother tongue naturally without any effort, and that they can also develop different talents in the same way. Group lessons are seen as one of the reasons why the Suzuki Method has become widespread and attracted great interest around the world. Group studies within the framework of a common repertoire created by Suzuki bring together all Suzuki students around the world and provide the opportunity to perform in various concerts, concerts and festivals. When the literature was examined, it was found that the publications on group lessons, which are an important part of the Suzuki Method, are limited and few in number. For this reason, explaining group lessons in the Suzuki Method in all aspects and contributing to the literature guided the formation of this study This study is a compilation study. The data for the study were obtained from the literature review on group lessons. In the study, group lessons were analyzed in terms of different topics such as social learning, learning through play, motivation-attention, musical experience and character development, and the place and importance of the lesson were mentioned.
