His work, as is understood from its title, was consisted of undotted fourty prophetic words (hadiths). This work, as much as we are able to know, is single in the kind of Fourty Hadit (Hadith Arbain) In this work, the author did the hadiths were undotted with care but he was not able to successfull in several example. There are also two invented (maudu) and twelve weak (Daif) hadiths in the work.
