Although ECT is known as a safe method, complications like dorsal vertebra fractures, wrist fractures, central acetabular fracture-dislocation, shoulder and temporomandibular joint dislocations and muscle or ligament lacerations have been reported. In this paper a rare side effect of ECT causing bilateral total supraspinatus tendon tears in a case with major depression is presented.
