Article Key Product a Fuzzy Logic-Based New Approach for Determining Consumer Preferences(int Journal Contemporary Economics & Administrative Sciences, 2016) Cavdar, ErtugrulDue to the intense competition that prevails in today's markets, it is necessary to constantly monitor target audiences in order to harmonize goods and services with consumer expectations. Many studies have been conducted to date on customer's selection criteria for goods and services, and their levels of perception and expectation. In this study, a fuzzy logic-based new quantitative analysis method was used to assess the extent to which current smart phones can satisfy consumer expectations, and to also determine the most suitable combination of product features based on general consumer preferences. The study population consisted of university students. In this context, the study sample was specifically composed of the students from the Yuzuncu Yil University in Van, Turkey. The study questionnaire that was administered to 386 students was based on smart phone features and applications. Using the "Key Product" method analysis performed based on the results of this study, it will be easier and more functional to identify consumers whose preferences are not satisfied in the market, and offer new and suitable combinations for them. In addition, and depending on the number of products to be produced and the consumer demands to be met, this method will also make it easier to determine the number of products with which production processes should be initiated, and the duration of time for which the production stages should be continued. Proposed fuzzy logic-based new quantitative analysis method determines the most suitable combination of product features according to general consumer preferences.Article Service Quality of the Enforcement Offices: Comparison Between Existing and Pilot Application Offices of Turkey(int Journal Contemporary Economics & Administrative Sciences, 2019) Onal, Erhan; Cavdar, Ertugrul; Kipcak, EmrullahIn this study, five quality dimensions of Servqual scale in terms of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy, as well as informing as a new dimension, the quality of service of the enforcement offices has been evaluated. Moreover the combination of Kano Model with QFD enables the information about the priority requirements for a business which is seeking customers' satisfaction. In this study, the combination of Kano Model and QFD technique has been analyzed by an application applied on smart phones. In the study, customers' requirements are classified by analyzing with Kano Model and the relationship between the level of satisfaction with each of the requirements is found out. Then, the primary requirements are determined by using Kano Model on QFD planning matrix. In order to use Kano Model on QFD planning matrix a method, in which satisfaction and dissatisfaction coefficients are used, is applied. According to the results of the study, 14 of totally 15 customer requirements are evaluated in linear category, while 1 requirement is evaluated in exciting category. Internet connection type, camera features and the operating system are the requirements that will extremely increase the satisfaction level, when met. On the other hand, when not met, they will lead much more dissatisfaction compared to other requirements. Additionally, as a result of using Kano Model with QFD technique, Internet connection type, camera features, the operating system and built-in memory are found to be most priority requirements, respectively.
