A few literatures were encountered on this issue. Retrovert uterus, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory event-related adhesions, ectopic pregnancy and intramural myomas are among predisposing factors. These factors cause stucking of uterus in pelvic cavity by hindering elevation of uterus in the abdomen and acute urinary retention may develop as the result of pressure to urinary bladder floor and urethra The case who developed the urinary retention in her three sequential pregnancies has been discussed in the light of the literature in this paper.Article The Management of the Congenital Anterior Urethral Diverticula With Calculi Which Is the Cause of Acute Urinary Retention (Globe Vesicale): a Case Report(Yuzuncu Yil Universitesi Tip Fakultesi, 2011) Pirinççi, N.; Geçit, I.; Güneş, M.; Taken, K.; Tanik, S.; Ceylan, K.Congenital urethral diverticula with calculi has a low incidence as reported in the literature. Congenital diverticula have been seen % 10-20 in all urethral diverticula. The etiology of urethral stones are urethra and bladder stones, urethral diverticula, foreign matters, urethral stenosis and urethral trauma. Management of treatment urethral stones is surgery and endoscopy. Our case was a three years old boy who referred to our clinic due to globe vesicale. Diagnosis was performed with cystoscopy and the presence of a stone in the urethral diverticula.Article The Presence of the Pubic Louse Pthirus Pubis in Two Patients Complaining From Tick Infestation(TIP ARASTIRMALARI DERNEGI, 2011) Beytur, A.; Geçit, I.; Karaman, U.; Şener, S.; Yakupoǧullari, Y.; Karadan, M.; Karci, E.Lice of the family pediculidae are obligatory parasites, which are accompanying the human kind during its entire evolution. We present the case of two patients, who visited our hospital with multiple bites. The physical examination of the patients did not reveal any ticks however, the more in depth inspection of the pubic area, where the pruritus was intense, revealed the presence of 1-1.5 mm long insects, which were diagnosed by the parasitologists as belonging to the pubic louse P. pubis. The patients and their families were treated with 5% permethrin and were free of lice and symptoms within two weeks.
