Article Determination of Footballers Anxiety and Sleep Quality of Getting Infected by New Type Coronavirus(int Journal Lifescience & Pharma Research, 2021) Sargin, KemalThis research was carried out to determine the anxiety and sleep quality of amateur football players catching the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) during the Covid-19 period. The universe of the research consists of amateur footballers in Van. The sample of the study, on the other hand, consists of 205 football players from 17 amateur teams. The data of the study were collected online via using a personal information form, Athletes' New Type Coronavirus Anxiety Scale (ANTCAS) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale. The data obtained were analyzed in the SPSS package program. As a result of the analysis madeit was found that there was no significant difference between the anxiety levels of athletes in getting the new type of coronavirus and the variables of marital status, educational status, age and BMI (p>0.05), while the sleep quality showed a significant difference with the age variable (p<0.05). As a result, it was found that athletes have high anxiety of getting infected with the virus during the pandemic period, and their sleep quality is long-term sleep disturbance.Article A Study on E-Sports, Motivation, and Physical Activity Triangle(Ataturk Univ, 2023) Simsek, Berzan; Gulesce, Mesut; Sargin, Kemal; Kartal, Alpaslan; Gumusdag, HayrettinToday, with the development of internet access and network, rapid changes and developments in technological fields have managed to affect the game world as well as in many areas, causing new changes and developments to occur. With the increase in the number of players and viewers playing digital games, rapidly developing digital games and e -sports games, playing and watching computer games based on video games gave birth to the concept of e -sports. This study was conducted to contribute to the literature. In this context, it is aimed to examine the digital game motivation and the level of participation in physical activity of the players who play electronic games in the research. The universe of the research consisted of individuals playing e -sports in Van and Batman provinces. Two hundred fifty-six individuals playing digital games participated in the research. Statistical operations of the obtained data were done with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 15.0 program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the findings did not show a normal distribution. While a significant difference was found in both participation in physical activity and motivation to play digital games in the variables of gender, age, average time spent at the game, and level of interest in e -sports, educational levels differ in the level of participation in physical activity. No differentiation was observed in the motivation to play digital games.
