Correction Article Predation Rate Linked To Life Table Ofchrysoperla Carnea(Stephen) (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae) Fed on Small Walnut Aphid (Chromaphis Juglandicola) (Kalt.) (Hemiptera: Aphididae): With Population and Predation Projections(Springer, 2021) Yilmaz, Mehmet; Polat Akkopru, EvinSmall walnut aphid (Chromaphis juglandicola(Kaltenbach) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) is important pest in walnut orchards in Lake Van Basin, Turkey. In this study, the life-table parameters reflecting population growth rate and predation rate ofChrysoperla carnea(Stephen) (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae), which is one of the important predators of the pest, were determined. Life table parameters were estimated according to age-stage, two-sex life table method. Variances and standart errors of population parameters were obtained according to Bootstrap method. The values obtained for the intrinsic rate of increase (r), finite rate of increase (lambda), net reproductive rate (R-0) and mean generation time (T) were 0.072 d(-1), 1.070 d(-1), 62.48 offspring and 57.16 d, respectively ofC. carneafed onChromaphis juglandicola. The net predation rate (C-0) was determined as 212.9 aphids. Pradation projection was performed by using timing program to prevent the predator's decrease in predation capacity and to determine the most appropriate release quantities and the appropriate interval between releases (to fill predation gaps) for biological control. The possible effects of the findings on the bio-controls ofChromaphis juglandicolabyC. carneawere discussed. Results obtained can be used in pest management program that will be prepared for this pest.Article Prospective Registry of Adult Patients Receiving Therapeutic Plasma Exchange With a Presumptive Diagnosis of Thrombotic Microangiopathy (Tma): the Turkish Hematology Research and Education Group (threg)-Tma02 Study(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2022) Akpinar, Seval; Tekgunduz, Emre; Esen, Ramazan; Yilmaz, Mehmet; Karakus, Volkan; Vural, Filiz; Demirkan, FatihTo understand who uses social media and how often they do so, we examined the personality traits that predict frequency of using a set of 10 different types of social media (e.g., social networks, blogs, virtual worlds). Using survey data collected from two large-scale samples of young adults (Exploratory Study 1 N = 1586, Confirmatory Study 2 N =1432), we conducted direct replications of our findings to test whether the observed relationships between social media use and personality traits were reliable. Our replicated findings reveal that sex, age and extraversion are reliable predictors of several types of social media use (e.g., Facebook, Messaging Platforms, Online Forums), while other traits (e.g., agreeableness, Machiavellianism) showed unreliable associations. Our findings also reveal dimensions of multiplatform social media use that categorize the media ecologies of young adults and show significant associations with individual difference measures.
