To History Studies Which Is the Affaire of Cyprus in Son Posta and New İstanbul Newspapers (1954-1974)

Abstract

Kıbrıs sorunu 1950'li yıllardan sonraki dönemde Türkiye, Yunanistan ve İngiltere ilişkilerinin belirleyicisi olmuş ve Türk basını da bu tarihlerden sonra Kıbrıs sorununa yoğun olarak ilgi göstermeye başlamıştır.Tarih Çalışmalarına Kaynak Olarak Son Posta ve Yeni İstanbul Gazetelerinde Kıbrıs Sorunu (1954- 1974) adlı bu çalışmamızda, Son Posta ve İstanbul Gazetelerinin Kıbrıs sorununa bakış açısı bilimsel bir yaklaşımla ele alınmıştır. Bu maksatla 1954?1974 yılları arasında Son Posta ve Yeni İstanbul Gazetelerinde çıkan toplam 2234 haber ile 94 köşe yazısı, üzerinde herhangi bir yorum yapılmadan anlatılmak istenen konu ön plana çıkarılarak özetleme yapılmıştır.Bu çalışma; giriş, iki ana bölüm ve sonuç kısımlarından oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında konunun tarihsel alt yapısı ele alınırken, ikinci ve üçüncü bölümlerde gazete haberleri ve köze yazıları özetlenmiştir. Sonuç kısmında ise Kıbrıs sorunu ile ilgili basında çıkan haber ve köşe yazılarının genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılarak, gazetelerin Kıbrıs'a bakış açıları ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca adı geçen gazetelerin soruna yaklaşımları karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir.The affaire of Cyprus started to regulate the relationship between Turkey, Greece and England after 1950?s and the pres in Turkey started to concenttrate on the affair of Cyprus after that time.On this study as a source to history studies which is the affaire of Cyprus in Son Posta and New İstanbul Newspapers (1954?1974), the point of view of Son Posta and New İstanbul Newspapers to the affair of Cypurs has been evaluated as a sicientific approach. İn arder to do this, totally 2234 news and 94 written articles whice are published in Son Posta and New İstanbul Newspapers in 1954?1974 years serutinied and the subject which is wanted to be told carried to foreground and it?s summary is mode.This stady is constituted of entiy port, two main parts and result port. On entry part the historical background of the topic is studied. On the second and third parts, the summary of newspapers? news and written articles has been done. At the result part, a general avoluation on the affair of cyprus has been studied based on the news and written articles which are published on the press. Thanks to this, the point of views of newspapers to the affair of cyprus are put out. Moreover, the approaches of related newspapers? to the affair evaluated by comparing.
