Comparison of Spinal Curvature of Aktive Athletes in Different Branches
Abstract
The sample of the study consisted of a total of 60 athletes between the ages of 18-22 who actively continue the sports of Boxing, Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics and Football. Spine measurements of the subjects were taken with a noninvasive spinal mouse device. The data obtained by moving from the cervical C7 vertebra of the vertebral column to the sacral region over the processus spinosus protrusions of the vertebrae were transferred to a nearby computer and evaluated with a device-specific algorithm program. The obtained data were analyzed by means of Pearson Product Moments and Spearman Rank Differences relational analyzes in the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 program environment, and Multiple Linear Regression analysis was used to find the variable that has the most effect on the curvatures. In Multiple Linear analysis, it was determined that age, height, weight and body mass index parameters were not a significant predictor of sagittal curvature. Keywords: Sport, Spinal Mouse, Columna vertebralis, Branch.
