Comprehending Peace in Religious Propagation in Islam
(Univ Sultan Azlan Shah, 2011) Aydin, Hayati
The word 'Islam' manifests its meaning to the word peace which provides security and serenity to individuals and the community. The article focuses on this dimension of Islam and aims to present evidence from religious sources which assert that Islam is not a religion that supports terrorism but a religion which emphasizes peace and salvation. As a noun, the word 'Islam' is a system of beliefs revealed by Allah to Muhammad (pbuh). In retrospect, in its verb form Islam is derived from the infinitive of transitive four category verbs namely if'al, Islam is "ef'ale-yuf'ilus" infinitive form. The root of this word is also d(e)rived from the infinitive Arabic trilateral root of silm or salamet (peace and security). For this reason Islam is not only encyclopaedic definition referring to submitting or resigning oneself or one's person to God or the will of God, surrendering to the will of Allah (God), but also has the transitive meaning (ta'diyat), becoming (sayrurat), becoming of anything over an adjective and criterion (ta'ridh). Islam is not only the believer's submission to Allah, but it also has peace and safety that spreads right throughout to others. It is therefore, benefitting every individual as well as the society.

Positive Effects of Believing, Prayer and Spending in Charity on the Inner Peace of Believers
(Univ Sultan Azlan Shah, 2013) Aydin, Hayati
The aim of this paper is to show the majesty of faith and rituals in the spiritual happiness of man. Believing, worshipping and giving charity are the core of Islam as well as the basis of spiritual presence. In the Holy Qur'an, it is explained that the man who realises those three elements is one who believe and behave conscientiously. For this reason, the Qur'an espouses that when Islamic virtues and rituals are carried out, the spiritual context of the soul calms down and gets peace. Faith gives internal presence to man, worshipping gets man closer to the divine existence, giving charity leads to harmony between man and his environment, and makes him follow the co-operative law of the cosmos.

The Understanding of Jinn in The Religious Resources and Culture
(Cumhuriyet Univ, Fac theology, 2017) Aydin, Hayati
The article focuses on the understanding of jinn (genie) in the context of religious sources and culture. As it is known, there is a lot of verses in the Qur'an about jinn. However, the fact of jinn and its qualities are not discussed in the sources of tafsir. It is of vital importance for the believer to understanding of the Qur'an which sent by Allah. We have addressed this issue in order to contribute to the understanding of the Qur'an as authentic. To true understand a subject belonging to the Qur'an is to preserve the integrity of the subject and to observe the historical and cultural atmosphere to which the verses relate. For this reason, we have mainly used religious sources such as the Qur'an and hadiths, and secondly, the Arabic culture. The result we have reached is this: the Qur'an used the expression of jinn as adjective noun. Therefore, in the Qur'an, the expression of jinn is one of two alternatives: Physical existence with unrecognized senses and transcendent beings. However, as the jinn of Solomon the Qur'an has also used the expression of jinn in the sense of strangers and craftsmen (priests, astrologers and ingenious masters), based on Arabic cultures from time to time.

In Terms of Islamic Beliefs a Study on the Reality of Extraordinary Events and the Events That Seem as Extraordinary
    (Sakarya Univ, 2015) Aydin, Hayati
The article aims to put forth how wrong it is to interpret the metaphysic aspect of the religion with the effect of rationalism and positivism with level-headed comments and aims to prove these that religion is a reality which won't be separated from metaphysics. Religion in itself comes from a metaphysical aspect and transportation of prophet miracles and of mahatma oracles is a proof of this. To this end, this paper deals with Magic and Witchcraft which seem like a supernatural event even though it's not, along with Miracle and Oracle which are real supernatural events; thus within this context, anecdotes and events are analyzed especially by the ones who are active around Sufism in the Islamic culture.
