A Study on Quranic Verses Which Were Mentioned by Al-Bukhari in His Defence of Al-Khabar Al-Vahid

This essay is aiming to analyze al-Bukhari's making use of some verses and hadiths as proofs for defending the transmission of a single person/al-khabar al-vahid as a juridical argument in religious issues especially connected with practical ones not with faith. al-Bukhari have divided a chapter by the name of Kitabu ahbar al-ahad in his monumental work al-Jami'al-Sahih and mentioned some Quranic verses and hadiths as proofs to prove transmission of a single person/al-khabar al-vahid as the evidence in practical/amali issues. In this paper we are going to dwell on those Quranic verses which were mentioned by al-Bukhari in his al-Jami' al-Sahih as proofs to prove that report of one person/al-khabar al-vahid is an argument in practical/amali issues.
