Article A Characterization of Absolute Summability Factors(Mathematical Soc Rep China, 2004) Rhoades, BE; Savas, ELet A and B be two summability methods. We shall use the notation lambda is an element of (A, B) to denote the set of all sequences lambda such that Sigmaa(n)lambda(n) is summable B, whenever Sigmaa(n) is summable A. In the present paper we characterize the sets lambda is an element of (\N,p(n)\, \T\(k)) and lambda is an element of (\(N) over bar ,p(n)\, \T\), where T is a lower triangular matrix with positive entries and row sums 1. As special cases we obtain summability factor theorems and inclusion theorems for pairs of weighted mean matrices.Article Local Property of Absolute Weighted Mean Summability of Fourier Series(Elsevier Science inc, 2004) Rhoades, BE; Savas, EWe obtain a theorem on a local property of \N, p(n)\(k), summability of factored Fourier series and a summability factor theorem for Fourier series. Using this result we establish several inclusion theorems as well as conditions for the equivalence of \(N) over bar ,p(n)\(k) and \(N) over bar ,q(n)\(s).Article Necessary Conditions for Inclusion Relations for Absolute Summability(Elsevier Science inc, 2004) Savas, ELet 1 < k less than or equal to s < infinity. In this paper we obtain necessary conditions for a series summable \A\(k) to imply that the series is summable \B\(s), where A and B are two lower triangular matrices. We also obtain several corollaries. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. This generalization is accomplished by replacing the weighted mean matrix in Mazhar's theorem in [S.M. Mazhar, A remark on a recent result on absolute summability factors, Indian J. Math. 40 (2) (1998) 123-13 1] with a triangular matrix. (c) 2005 Published by Elsevier LtdArticle On Absolute Summability Factors(Rocky Mt Math Consortium, 2003) Savas, EThe purpose of this paper is to determine the conditions for which Sigmaa(n)lambda(nu) is summable \T\(s) whenever Sigmaa(n) is summable \(N) over bar ,p(n)\(k) where T is a lower triangular matrix with positive entries and row sums one. As special cases we obtain inclusion theorems for pairs of weighted mean matrices.Article On Some Generalized Sequence Spaces Defined by a Modulus(indian Nat Sci Acad, 1999) Savas, EIn this paper we introduced an alternative definition of strongly almost A-summability with respect to a modulus. This definition seems to be more natural and contains the definition of strongly almost convergence with respect to a modulus as a special case.Article On Statistically Convergent Double Sequences of Fuzzy Numbers(Elsevier Science inc, 2004) Savas, E; MursaleenIn this paper, we continue the study the notion of statistically convergent and statistically Cauchy for double sequences of fuzzy numbers. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. As corollaries we obtain a number of inclusion theorems. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
