Article Further Results on the Admissibility of Singular Systems With Delays(Prairie View A & M Univ, dept Mathematics, 2022) Yigit, Abdullah; Tunc, CemilIn this article, admissibility problem for a kind of singular systems with delays is studied. Firstly, the given singular system with delays is transformed into a neutral system with delays. Secondly, new sufficient criteria are obtained on the stability of the new neutral system by aid of Wirtinger-based integral inequality, linear matrix inequality (LMI) and suitable LyapunovKrasovskii functionals (LKFs). The obtained criteria are valid for both of the systems. At the end, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the obtained results using MATLAB-Simulink software. By this article, we extend and improve some results of the past literature.Article On the Qualitative Results of Riemann-Liouville Fractional Order Nonlinear Neutral Singular Systems With Mixed Delays(Prairie View A & M Univ, dept Mathematics, 2024) Yigit, Abdullah; Tunc, CemilIn this manuscript, we discuss new conditions for asymptotic stability of nonlinear RiemannLiouville fractional mixed-delay neutral singular systems. By constructing a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs), we establish some new delay-dependent conditions in terms of matrix inequality, which guarantees that the systems are asymptotically stable. In the particular case, we give four numerical examples with their solutions and graphs via MATLAB software demonstrating the practical applicability of these proven conditions. With this study, some conditions existing in the literature are developed and generalized.Article On the Stability and Admissibility of a Singular Differential System With Constant Delay(Lebanese Univ, 2020) Yigit, Abdullah; Tunc, CemilThis paper deals with the problems of asymptotic stability, exponentially stability and admissibility for a mathematical model of singular systems with constant delay. First, the singular system is transformed into a neutral differential system. Secondly, some sufficient conditions are obtained on the stability and the admissibility of solutions of the new neutral differential system using integral inequalities, linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique and meaningful Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. At the end, two numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method and the obtained results. These results generalize the existing ones.Article A Simplified Fundamental Period Equation for Rc Buildings(Croatian Soc Civil Engineers-hsgi, 2021) Yigit, Abdullah; Erdil, Baris; Akkaya, IsmailConsidering the huge differences in the prediction and organization of equations available in the literature, this paper aims at developing a reliable equation including mass and stiffness parameters. Microtremor (ambient vibration) measurements were taken from 23 RC buildings and their fundamental periods were compared to the dynamic analysis results. Building models were then calibrated to account for the infill wall effect. After that, 156 RC buildings were 3D modelled and their dynamic analysis results were used to calibrate the proposed fundamental period equation.
