Ahmed Matar'ın Şiirlerinde Ölüm Teması

Abstract

Modern Arap edebiyatının öncü şairlerinden Ahmed Matar'ı ele alan bu çalışmada şairin divanındaki ölüm temalı şiirleri biçim ve içerik açısından incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda hayatı, edebi kişiliği, şiirlerinin içeriği, şiirlerinde dil ve üslup, yaşadığı dönemin edebî kişiliğine ve şiirlerine etkisi gibi birçok konuya değinilmeye çalışılmıştır. Matar'ın şiirleri etrafında oluşan edebiyat, mümkün mertebe objektif ve akademik kriterlere uygun bir biçimde incelenmeye çalışılmış olup edebî bir materyal olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Modern Arap edebiyatının önemli simalarından olan Matar şiirlerinde genelde Orta Doğu dünyasının siyasi, kültürel ve sosyal yapısını özelde ise ülkesi Irak'ı ve genel problemlerini ele almıştır. Onun bu tutumu kendisinin Irak'tan sürgün edilmesine yol açmıştır. Matar, kendi ülkesindeki sorunları eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla açık bir şekilde gözler önüne serdiği için siyasîlerin tepkisini üzerine çekmiştir. Zira onun şiirlerinde yönetime karşı bir isyan söz konusudur. Şairin bu tutumu, büyük bedeller ödemesine neden olmuştur. Ancak Matar'ın verdiği mücadelelere bakıldığında, yaşanılan olumsuz durumların onu haksızlıkları dile getirmekten alıkoyamadığı görülmektedir. Matar, şiir edebiyat ve sanatın gerçek görevinin hakikatleri dile getirmek olduğunu, diğer şairler ve edebiyatçıların aksine şiirin güzel görüntüsüne, kafiyesine vb. gibi bir takım şekilsel ayrıntılara takılmayan, şiiri duygu ve düşünceleri dile getirmede bir araç olarak kullanan bir şairdir. Bu çalışmada Ahmed Matar'ın hayatı, edebi kişiliği ve şiir anlayışının yanı sıra bilhassa şiirlerde ölümü ele alış şekli konu edilmiştir. Matar'ın toplum, devlet, siyasî hayat, özgürlük, barış, yaşam ve ölüm gibi birçok konudaki şiirleri farklı akademik çalışmalara konu olmuştur.This study, which examines Ahmed Matar, one of the pioneer poets of modern Arabic literature, examines the poet's poems in his divan in terms of form and content. In this context, many issues such as his life, literary personality, the content of his poems, the language and style of his poems, and the influence of the period in which he lived on his literary personality and poems have been addressed. The literature that emerged around Matar's poems has been examined in an objective and academic manner as much as possible and has been evaluated as literary material. Matar, one of the important figures of modern Arabic literature, generally addressed the political, cultural and social structure of the Middle Eastern world in his poems, and specifically his country Iraq and its general problems. This attitude led to his exile from Iraq. Matar drew the reaction of politicians because he openly exposed the problems in his own country from a critical perspective. Because there is a rebellion against the government in his poems. This attitude caused the poet to pay a great price. However, when we look at Matar's struggles, we see that no negative situation he experienced could prevent him from expressing injustice. Matar is a poet who believes that the real duty of poetry, literature and art is to express truths, and unlike other poets and writers, he does not get hung up on formal details such as the beautiful image of the poem, its rhyme, etc., and uses poetry as a tool to express feelings and thoughts. This study examines Ahmed Matar's life, literary personality and understanding of poetry, as well as his approach to death in poems in particular. Matar's poems on many subjects such as society, state, political life, freedom, peace, life and death have been the subject of various academic studies.
