Distribution of Dust Mites in Hasköy Town of Muş Province
Abstract
ÖZET Aykut M. Muş ili Hasköy İlçesinde Ev Tozu Akarlarının Yayılışı. Y.Y.Ü. Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Parazitoloji Anabilinı Dalı Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Van, 2003. Bu çalışma, Muş ili Hasköy ilçesindeki ev tozu akarlarının yaygınlığı ve bunu etkileyen faktörler ile bu akarların allerjik rahatsızlıklardaki rolünün belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla mayıs ve temmuz aylarında 50'şer evden toz örnekleri alınarak laboratuvarda direkt bakı, doymuş tuzlu suda yüzdürme (flotasyon) ve laktik asitte çöktürme yöntemleri uygulanarak incelendi. Mayıs ayında incelenen 50 ev tozu örneğinin 28'i (%56), temmuz ayında incelenen 50 ev tozu örneğinin 20'si (%40) akar bakımından pozitif olarak saptandı. Saptanan akarların yüzdeliklerine bakıldığında Dermatophagoides pteronyssitıus' un mayıs ayında %36.34, temmuz ayında ise %34.21 oranlarıyla ev tozu akar faunasında baskın tür olarak saptanmıştır. Mayıs ayında Lepidoglyphııs destructor %18,18, Cheyletus spp. %6.81, Acartıs siro %4.54, Acartıs faris %4.54, Acotyleton tjidohas %4.54, Blomia tjidobas %2.27, Rhizoglyphus robini %2.27 ve Charloglyphıts arcuatus %2.27; temmuz ayında ise L.destrııctor 18.42, Cheyletus spp. %10.52, A.siro %7.89, Ajans %2.63, Allocalvolia habrocytes %5.26, A.tjidobas %5.26 ve R.robini %5.26 oranlarında bulunmuştur. Araştırmada bazı akarların teşhisi yapılamadı. Çalışmada allerjik rahatsızlığı bulunanların evinden elde edilen akar pozitifliği oranı %55.5, rahatsızlığı bulunmayanların evlerinden elde edilen akar pozitifliği oranı ise %56.25 olup, akar pozitifliği ile allerji arasındaki ilişki istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmadı. Ayrıca çalışmada toprak evlerin mayıs ayında %62.5, temmuz ayında %50, betonarme evlerin mayıs ayında %58.3, temmuz ayında %33.3 ve apartman dairelerinin mayıs ve temmuz aylarında %40'ında akar saptanmış olup, toprak evlerde saptanan oran, diğer evlerde saptanan oranlardan daha yüksek bulundu. Bu çalışmada ev tozunda akarlardan başka halk sağlığı açısından önemli olan parazitlere ait yumurtalar ve polenler de gözlenmiştir. Anahtar sözcükler: Ev tozu akarları, allerji, Hasköy, Muş 36

This study was carried out to determine the distribution of dust mites and the factors affecting this distribution in Hasköy tawn of Muş province. The effects of dust mites on allergic disorders were also examined, For this reason dust samples from 50 houses were collected in May and July months and examined in laboratory using direct microscopy, saturated saline flotation and lactic acid sedimentation methods. 28 (56%) of 50 mites samples examined in May and 20 (40%) of 50 mites samples examined in July were found positive. With respect to percentage of determined dust mites, Dermatophagoides pleronyssinus was found to be predominant species with 36.34% in May and 34.21%in July. Lepidoglyphus destructor, Chey Ictus spp, Acarus spp, Acarus /arris, Acotyledon tjidobas, Blomia tjidobas, Rliizogfyphus robini and Chartoglyphus arcuatus had 18.1%, 6.81%, 4.54%, 4.54%, 4.54%, 2.27%, 2.27%, and 2.27% percentages in May respectively. On the other hand, L.destructor, Cheyletus spp, Acarus spp, Acarus farris, Allocalvolia habrocytes, A.tjidobas and R.robini had 18.42%, 10.52%, 7.89%, 2.63%, 5.26%, 5.26% and 5.26% percentages in July respectively. The diagnosis of some dust mites was not made. Positiveness rate of dust mites collected from houses with allergic disorders people was 55.5% while this rate was found to be 56.25% for houses without allergic disorders people. The relationship between dust mites positiveness and allergy was not significant statistically. In addition of soil houses 62.5% in May and 50% in July had dust mites. This percentage was 58.3% in May and 33.3% in July for cement houses and 40% in May and July for apartments. The dust mite's rate was higher in soil houses than the other types of houses.
