Edhemi`s Divan and Its Analysis
Abstract
Edhemî, 15. yüzyıl şairlerindendir. Muhtemelen Akkoyunlu Yakup'un muhitinde yetişmiş tir. Divanının eksik bir yazma nüshası İstanbul'da Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi'nde Şâzeli Tekke- si'ndedir. Divanında doksan ikisi gazel, ikisi kaside olmak üzere toplam doksan dört şiir vardır. Bu şiirler şairin kimliğini ortaya koymak amacıyla sistematik olarak tahlil edilmiştir.
Edhemî, who possibly grew up under domination of Yakup the Akkoyunlu, is one of the poets of the fifteenth century. A hand-written copy of his divan is found Şâzeli Tekkesi at Süleyma- niye Library in Istanbul. His divan consists totally ninety-four poems ninety-two of them are gazels and two of them are kasides. These poems have been systematically analyzed so as to express the i- dentification of the poet.
