Abstract

Ağız araştırmalarının önemi her geçen gün daha da hissedilmektedir. Son dönemlerde hız kazanmış olan bu çalışmalar gün geçtikçe daha da zorlaşmaktadır. Sanayileşme ve bu bağlamda değişen nüfus, teknoloji ile birlikte gelişen araç gereçlerin varlığı (televizyon, bilgisayar) vb. etkenler ağız çalışmalarını olumsuz etkilemiştir. Bu sebeple Türkiye ve Türkiye sınırları dışında konuşulan Türkçenin ağızlarını derlemek ve kayıt altına almak öncelikli dil çalışmaları içerisinde değerlendirilmelidir. Bu çerçevede ağız çalışmalarının özellikle önemsendiği bu süreçte, olumsuz koşulların gölgesinde kalmaması için hemen her yörenin hız kesmeden ağız derlemelerinin yapılmasını önemli hale getirmektedir. Çalışmada, stratejik bir öneme sahip olan Şanlıurfa'nın Birecik ilçesi ve bazı köylerinin ağız araştırması yapılmıştır. Fırat nehrinin Doğu kıyısında yer alan Birecik ağız incelemeleri bağlamında da oldukça önemli bir yapıya sahiptir. Yapılan çalışmada Birecik yöresi ve köylerinde yaşayan yerli halkın ağız özellikleri incelenmiş ve bu çerçevede metinlerden elde edilen farklı sözcükler köken bağlamında da değerlendirilerek anlamlandırılmıştır. Yörenin ağız özelliklerinin tespit edilmesi çerçevesinde ilçe merkezi ve köylerinden derlemeler yapılmış, söz konusu derlemeler Türk Dil Kurumu'nun tavsiye ettiği transkripsiyon alfabesi temelinde yazıya aktarılmıştır. Çalışmanın Giriş bölümünde yörenin tarihi, nüfusu, ekonomik durumu vb. özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın ilk kısmı derlemelerden elde edilen dil özellikleri ses bilgisi bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın ana unsurunu oluşturan ikinci kısmında, derlenen metinlerin transkripsiyon alfabesi ile yazıya geçirilmiş bölümü yer almaktadır. Üçüncü ve son kısımda sözlüğe yer verilmiş olup burada farklı biçim ve anlamdaki sözcüklerin kökeni parantez içinde gösterilerek örnek cümlelerle anlamlandırılmıştır.

The importance of dialect research is expanding more and more every day. These studies, which have accelerated in recent years, are getting more and more difficult day by day. Factors such as industrialization and the changing population, the existence of tools and equipment (television,computer) that have developed with technology affect the dialect studies negatively. For this reason, compiling and recording the dialects of Turkish spoken in and outside of Turkey's borders should be evaluated within the priority language studies. In this context, in this process which dialect studies are particularly important, it is crucial to make dialect collection of almost every region immediately in order not to be overshadowed by negative conditions. In this study, dialect research of Birecik district of Şanlıurfa which has a strategic importance and some villages of it, was carried out. Birecik, located on the east bank of the Euphrates, has a very important structure in the context of dialect studies. In this study, the dialect characteristics of the local people living in the Birecik region and its villages were examined and different words obtained from the texts were evaluated and interpreted in the context of origin. Within the framework of determining the dialect characteristics of the region, compilations were made from the district center and its villages, and the aforementioned compilations were transcribed on the basis of the aforementioned compilations and the transcription alphabet recommended by the Turkish Language Association (TDK). In the Introduction part of the study, features such as the history of the region, its population, economic situation etc. features are included. In the first part of the study, the language features obtained from the compilations were evaluated in the context of phonetics. In the second part, which constitutes the main element of the study, there is the part of the compiled texts that has been written with the transcription alphabet. In the third and last part, a dictionary is given, in which the origin of the words in different forms and meanings are shown in parentheses and explained with example sentences.
