Investigation of the Usability of Guitar Works Written in Huseyni Mode in Guitar Education in Li̇ne With the Opinions of Teachers and Academicians

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, ülkemizde mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda gitar eğitimi repertuvarında kullanılmak üzere araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış makamsal karakterli eserlerin, gitar eğitimine katkılarının araştırılması ve gitar eğitimi repertuvarına katkı sağlanması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından makamsal karakterde bestelenen dört gitar eserinin, gitar eğitimi ve repertuvarına uygunluğunu değerlendirmek için gitar eğitimcilerinin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Araştırma modeli olarak nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin birlikte kullanıldığı karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini ve örneklemini, Türkiye'deki üniversite ve güzel sanatlar liselerinde mesleki gitar eğitimi veren 12 klasik gitar eğitimcisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak 'Google Forms' kullanılmıştır. Veriler, araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan gitar eğitimcilerinden elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın problem cümlesi, '' araştırmacı tarafından Hüseyni makamında bestelenen 4 eserin ülkemizdeki klasik gitar eğitimine uygun mudur? olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda araştırmacı tarafından bestelenen eserlerin icra tekniği, süslemeleri, armonik yapısı, gitar tekniğine uygunluğu ve gitar eğitiminde kullanılabilirliği açısından uygun olduğu, seslendirecek öğrencilerin mesleki gelişimlerine katkı sağlayacağı, öğrenim kademelerinden en çok lise düzeyine uygun olduğu, Bahar Türküsü adlı eserin ise klasik gitar eğitimine uygunluğunun diğer eserlerden daha fazla olduğu sonucuna varılmıştırIn this study, the researcher aimed to investigate the potential contributions of original compositions with modal characteristics, composed by the researcher for guitar education, to the repertoire of guitar education institutions providing vocational music education in our country. To evaluate the suitability of four guitar pieces composed in modal character by the researcher for guitar education and repertoire, the opinions of guitar educators were sought. The study utilized a mixed-method approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The universe and sample of the research consisted of 12 classical guitar educators providing vocational guitar education in universities and fine arts high schools in Turkey. 'Google Forms' was used as the data collection tool, and the data were obtained voluntarily from participating guitar educators. The research problem statement was defined as 'Are the four compositions composed by the researcher in the Huseyni mode suitable for classical guitar education in our country?' According to the research results, the pieces composed by the researcher were found to be suitable in terms of performance technique, ornamentation, harmonic structure, compatibility with guitar technique, and usability in guitar education. It was concluded that these pieces could contribute to the professional development of students who perform them, and they were particularly suitable for students at the high school level. Additionally, the piece titled 'Bahar Türküsü' was found to be more suitable for classical guitar education compared to the other compositions.
