Abstract
Günümüze Gelen Şanlıurfa Hamamları adlı çalışmamızın temel amacı, Türk-İslamMimarisinde su ve su mimarisine verilen öneme binaen; Şanlıurfa'da günümüze ulaşanhamamları ve günümüzdeki durumlarını incelemeyi hedefledik.Çalışmamıza Şanlıurfa ilinin tarihçesi ve coğrafi konumunu verdikten sonra katalogbölümünde Şanlıurfa'daki hamamların adı, yeri ve tarihçesi verilmiş olup mimari özelliklerialt başlıklarla incelenmiştir. Değerlendirme ve sonuç bölümünde incelediğimiz yapılarınTürk-İslam Mimarisindeki yeri ve önemine değindik.İnceleme sonucunda Şanlıurfa'daki günümüze ulaşan Sultan, Şaban, Cıncıklı, VeliBey, Vezir, Eski Arasa, Serçe, Şahapzade ve Keçeci Hamamlarından oluşan dokuz hamamdanaltı tanesi günümüzde faal durumdadır. Bu yapılarımız Osmanlı dönemine ait olup, Tekfonksiyonlu hamamlar grubunda değerlendirilir.Sonuç olarak Osmanlı Su Mimarisinde önemli yer tutan bu yapılarımızın biran öncerestore edilip korunması ve geleceğe taşınması açısından ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların gerekenhassasiyeti göstermeleri gerekir.Anahtar sözcükler: Hamam, Külhan, Soğukluk, Sıcaklık, Ilıklık, Kurna, Cas
Şanlıurfa province whrch is in the South-Rast region and which is one of the firsthistorical site areas has been a living place for man civilizations until today. With this feature,a rich variety in its architectural masterpieces is being seen. While a big part of it belongs toTurkish-İslam eras, just as in all the architectural fields, a lot of architectural masterpiecesrelated to water architecture have been heritaged. Connected with our thesis topic called?baths survived to today in Şanlıurfa, after source research about the region and topic, landstudy and photograph takings have been carried out. Although their names are seen n writtensources and foundations, unfortunately a lot of baths haven?t been able to survive to today butonly nine. Six of these baths have been rented by foundations and are active at the moment.These, Vezir, Valibey, Sultan, Cıncıklı, Eski Arasa, Şaban, Serçe in baths are of otomanclassic bath scheme, Single functional and are from Otoman era. One of these baths calledEski Arasa has been abandoned to it destiny. This bath should be restored as soon as possible.Thee structures have been documented by given detailed information and by photos. Wishingrelated institutions and associations to pay necessary attention in order to maintain and carrythese master pieces to future.
