Polygamma Function Inequalities

Abstract

Bilindiği üzere klasik gamma fonksiyonu içinintegrali ile tanımlanır. Gamma fonksiyonunun logaritmik türevine digamma fonksiyonu denir ve ile gösterilir. Bir başka ifade iledır. Literatürde digamma fonksiyonunun türevlerine poligamma fonksiyonları denir.Bu çalışmada; digamma ve poligamma fonksiyonları ile bazı temel özellikleri verip bu fonksiyonlarla ilgili son yıllarda elde edilen bazı önemli eşitsizlikleri bir araya getirmeye çalıştık.Anahtar kelimeler: Digamma fonksiyonu, Poligamma fonksiyonu, Gamma fonksiyonu, Eşitsizlikler.

As it is well known the classical gama function is defined by the integral forThe logarithmic derivative of the gamma function is called the digamma function. An other words the digamma function is defined byThe derivatives of the digamma function are called polygamma function in the literature. In this thesis, after presenting some fundamental properties of these function, we collected some important inequalities for these function discovered in the last years.Key words : Digamma function, Polygamma function, Gamma function, Inequalities.
