Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeline Göre Hazırlanan 5. Sınıf Matematik Ders Kitabı Etkinliklerinin 21. Yüzyıl Becerileri Açısından İncelenmesi
Abstract
Bu çalışmada 2024 yılında yayımlanan Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli Matematik dersi öğretim programı kapsamında yayınlanan ortaokul 5. Sınıf matematik ders kitabı içerisindeki etkinliklerin 21. yüzyıl becerileri açısından analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi olan doküman incelemesinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri ders kitabında bulunan 112 etkinliğin incelenmesi ile elde edilmiştir. Partnership for 21 Century Skills (P21) sınıflandırması dikkate alınarak gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada etkinlikler uygun becerilere göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Araştırmanın güvenilirliği için Miles ve Huberman güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanarak güvenirlik %93 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda en çok bilgi okuryazarlığı ve eleştirel düşünme becerisi ile problem çözme becerilerine yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Medya okuryazarlığı, liderlik ve sorumluluk, bilgi iletişim teknolojileri okuryazarlığı gibi becerilere ise oldukça az oranda yer verildiği gözlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to analyze the activities in the middle school 5th grade Mathematics textbook published within the scope of the Turkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli Mathematics Curriculum published in 2024 in terms of 21st century skills. In the study, in order to examine the middle school 5th grade Mathematics textbook in terms of 21st century skills, a qualitative research method, document review, was used. The data of the study consisted of 112 activities in the textbook. The research data were classified in terms of 21st century skills with a form created according to a checklist. For the reliability of the study, another researcher was asked to fill out the same form. Then, the opinions of these two researchers were calculated according to the Miles and Huberman Qualitative data analysis formula and the reliability was found to be 93%. The Partnership for 21 Century Skills (P21) classification was taken into consideration for the analysis in this study. P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Learning) listed these skills as learning and renewal skills, life and career skills, ICT skills.
