An analysis of syntax study in Nazan Bekiroğlu's novel Kehribar Geçidi

Abstract

Dil, sözcüklerin belirli kurallar çerçevesinde yan yana gelerek oluşturduğu kurallar bütünüdür. Kendine has kaideleri olan ve bu kaideler bünyesinde gelişen canlı bir varlıktır. Dilin yapısını ve oluşumunu etkileyen unsurlar arasında olan kültür, dil sayesinde nesiller boyu aktarılır. Kültürü oluşturan birçok faktör dilin inceleme alanı içerisindedir. Bu durum gerek sözlü gerekse yazılı ürünler bağlamında kendini gösterir. Söz konusu yazılı ürünlerden biri de edebi çerçevede oldukça önemli yer tutan romanlardır. Romanlar, dilin niteliğini ya da yazarın yazınsal eğilimini etkin biçimde yansıtan kıymetli metinlerdir. Türkiye Türkçesine özgü dil özellikleri günümüzde romanlar, hikâyeler, şiirler vb. metinlerden elde edilen bulgularla netlik kazanmaktadır. Bu eserler sayesinde dile özgü yapıları ve özellikleri görmek daha kolay olabilmektedir. Aynı zamanda yazar bağlamında öznel anlatım, farklı yapılar, yaratıcılık noktasında yeniden oluşturulmuş özel sözcük ve eylemleri keşfetmek mümkündür. Türk edebiyatında önemli bir yere sahip olan Nazan Bekiroğlu da dil kullanımı açısından dikkate değer isimler arasındadır. Yazarın eserlerine yansıttığı dil ve üslubu Türk dili temelinde incelemeye değer niteliktedir. Bu sebeple yazarın 'Kehribar Geçidi' adlı eseri Türkiye Türkçesi'nin dil özellikleri dahilinde incelenecektir. Çalışma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm Nazan Bekiroğlu'nun hayatı, sanatı, eserleri ve çalışmanın ana konusu olan 'Kehribar Geçidi' romanının tanıtımı üzerinedir. İkinci bölümde 'kelime grupları' üçüncü bölümde 'yargı grupları' dördüncü bölümde 'cümle çeşitleri'nden hareketle romanın söz dizimi hakkında bazı tespitler ortaya konulacaktır.Language is the set of rules governing the arrangement of words within a specific framework. It is a living entity with its own unique rules and evolves within these rules. Culture, which is among the factors influencing the structure and formation of language, is passed down through generations thanks to language. Many factors that constitute culture are within the scope of language examination. This is evident both in oral and written contexts, particularly in literary works such as novels, which hold significant importance. In today's context, specific language features of Turkish language are becoming clearer through findings obtained from novels, stories, poems, and other texts. Through these works, it becomes easier to observe the structures and characteristics specific to the language. Additionally, it is possible to discover subjective expressions, different structures, and creatively reconstructed specific words and actions within the context of the author's narrative style. Nazan Bekiroğlu, who holds an important place in Turkish literature, is also a noteworthy figure in terms of language usage. The language and style reflected in the author's works are significant for examination within the framework of the Turkish language. Therefore, the author's work 'Kehribar Geçidi' will be examined within the framework of the language features of Turkish. The study consists of four parts. The first part focuses on the life, art, works of Nazan Bekiroğlu, and introduces the main subject of the study, the novel 'Kehribar Geçidi.' Some observations will be presented based on 'the word groups' in second part, 'judgement groups' in the third part, 'sentence diversities' in fourth part about the syntax of the novel.
