Abstract

18. Yüzyılda değişen dünya ile birlikte Osmanlı Devleti aslında pek de yabancısı olmadığı göç kavramı ile istemeyerek de olsa karşılaşmak zorunda kalmıştır. Bu durumun en önemli nedeni belki de devletin içinde bulunduğu zor şartlardır. Yaşanan göçlerin etkileri sadece Osmanlı Devleti ile sınırlı kalmamış, yeni kurulmuş olan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti içinde büyük etkilerde bulunmuştur. Bu durum kendisini Lozan'da 30 Ocak 1923 tarihinde imzalanmış olan mübadeleye ilişkin sözleşme ve protokol ile göstermiştir. Bunun sonucu olarak yeni kurulmuş olan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, içinde bulunduğu ağır şartlara rağmen Yunanistan topraklarında kalmış olan vatandaşlarını Türkiye'ye getirme çabası içine girmiştir. Çalışmamız, mübadele konusunda Dörtyol'a yerleştirilen mübadilleri ele almıştır. Çalışmada Türk-Yunan ilişkileri, Lozan Konferansı, Mübadele sürecinin siyasi ve sosyal anlamdaki hazırlıklarına yer verilmiştir. İlerleyen bölümlerde ise konumuz olan Dörtyol bölgesine yapılmış olan göçler anlatılmıştır. Bu sayede bölge tarihine ışık tutacağını düşündüğümüz bir çalışma ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışmayı arşiv belgeleri, kitap ve makaleler ile tamamlayarak daha iyi anlaşılmasını amaçladığımız bir çalışma ortaya koyduk.With the changing world in the 18th century, the Ottoman Empire had to face the concept of immigration, which it was not familiar with, albeit unwillingly. Perhaps the most important reason for this situation is the difficult conditions of the state. The effects of the migrations were not only limited to the Ottoman Empire, but also had great effects in the newly established Republic of Turkey. This situation showed it self with the agreement and protocol regarding the exchange signed in Lausanne on January 30, 1923. As a result of this, the newly established. Republic of Turkey has entered into an effort to bring its citizens who remained in Greek territory to Turkey despite the harsh conditions. Our study deals with the exchanges placed in the Dörtyol region on the subject of exchange. In the study, the Turkish-Greek relations, the Lausanne Conference, the political and social preparations of the Exchange process are included. In the following sections, the migrations made to the Dörtyol region, which is our subject, are explained. In this way, a study has emerged that we think will shed light on the history of the region. By completing the study with archival documents, books and articles, we presented a study that we aimed to be understood better.
