An Investigation on the Herbage and Seed Yields of Some Vetch Species and Cultivars

Abstract

ÖZETBAZI FİĞ TÜR VE ÇEŞİTLERİNİN OT VE TOHUM VERİMLERİÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMAŞAHAR, A.KorhanYüksek Lisans Tezi, Tarla Bitkileri Anabilim DalıTez Danışmanı: Prof. Dr. A.Esen ÇELENOcak 2006, 29 sayfaBu araştırma, Van koşullarına uygun fiğ çeşitlerini belirlemek amacıyla2003 yılında yürütülmüştür. Tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre üç tekrarlamalıolarak kurulan denemede, adi fiğ türüne ait Kubilay-82, Cumhuriyet-99, Selçuk-99,Alınoğlu-2001, Bakır-2001, Farukbey-2001; tüylü fiğ türüne ait Efes-79 ve macarfiği türüne ait Egebeyazı-79 çeşitleri materyal olarak kullanılmıştır.Biçimler ot verimleri için % 50 çiçeklenme döneminde, tohum verimleriiçin ise alt baklaların tamamen kuruduğu dönemde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, bitkiboyu, yeşil ot verimi, kuru madde oranı, kuru madde verimi, ham protein oranı, hamprotein verimi, tohum verimi ve bin tane ağırlığı özellikleri incelenmiştir.Çeşitlerin bitki boyları 89.3 ile 42.3 cm arasında değişmiş ve en yüksekbitki boyu Efes-79 çeşidinden alınmıştır. Yeşil ot verimleri 734.ile 2341.kg/da, kurumadde verimleri ise 216 ile606 kg/da arasında değişmiş ve en yüksek yeşil ot verimive kuru madde verimi Efes-79 çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. Çeşitlerin ham proteinverimleri 98.6 ile 36.7 kg/da arasında değişmiş, en yüksek protein verimi Efes-79çeşidinden alınmıştır. En yüksek bin tane ağırlığı Cumhuriyet-99 çeşidinden alınmışolup, bin tane ağırlıkları 67.2 ile 29.6 g arasında değişmiştir.Araştırmada kullanılan çeşitlerin tohum verimleri incelendiğinde, enyüksek tohum verimi Egebeyazı-79 çeşidinden alınmış olup tohum verimleri 97.5 ile32.02 kg/da arasında değişmiştir.Sonuç olarak, ot üretimi için Efes-79 , tohum üretimi için ise Egebeyazı-79çeşitlerinin Van koşulları için uygun çeşitler olduğu saptanmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: adi fiğ (Vicia sativa L..), tüylü fiğ (Vicia villosa Roth),macar fiği (Vicia pannonica Crantz)iABSTRACTAN INVESTIGATION ON THE HERBAGE AND SEED YIELDS OF SOMEVETCH SPECIES AND CULTIVARSŞAHAR, A.KorhanMsc, Field Crops DepartmentSupervisor: Prof. Dr. A.Esen ÇELENJanuary 2006, 31 pagesThis trial was conducted to determine the suitable vetch varieties for Vanecological conditions in 2003. In the trial; common vetch species (cvs.Kubilay-82,Cumhuriyet-99, Selçuk-99, Alınoglu-2001, Bakır-2001 and Farukbey-2001), hairyvetche species (cv Efes-79) and Hungarian vetche species (cv Ege Beyazı-79) wereused.The plots were cut in the 50 % flowering period of vetches, for herbagewhereas the seed harvest was made when the lower legumes dried completly Theplant height, green herbage yield, dry matter rate, dry matter yield, crude proteinrate, crude protein yield, seed yield and thousand seed weight were investigated. Theplant heighest ranged between 89 and 42 cm. The highest plant height was takenfrom cv Efes-79 The yields ranged between 23410-7340 and 6068-2168 kg ha-1 forgreen herbage and dry matter, respectively. cv Efes-79 gave the highest green anddry matter yields. The crude protein yields ranged between 986.2-366.7 kg ha-1 andthe highest crude protein yield was recorded from cv Efes-79 cv Cumhuriyet-99gave the highest thousand seed weight and the values ranged between 67.2 and 29.6g. cv Egebeyazı-79 gave the highest seed yield and seed yields ranged between974.7-320.2 kg ha-1.In conclusion, cv. Efes-79 was found to be suitable cultivar for herbageproduction and cv.
