Gazel Commentary Selected From the Divân of Nâşid

Abstract

Divan edebiyatı şairlerinin divanlarındaki gazel şerhleri şair hakkında düşünce, inanç, yaşadığı dönem, sosyal hayat, kültür, sanat ve şairlik yönü açısından bilgi edinmemizi sağlayıcı bir kaynak nitelediğindedir.18.yüzyıl divan şairi İbrahim Nâşid hakkında şimdiye dek fazla bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu tez Nâşid divanından seçilmiş bazı gazellerinşerhleriyle Nâşid'in sanat değerinin anlaşılması; düşünce, hayal dünyasının ortaya çıkarılması, ayrıca şairin kişiliğine, psikolojik özelliklerine ve mizacına dair pek çok bilgi edinmeyi ve bu yönde birkatkı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.Çalışmada ilk olarak şairin seçilmiş gazellerindeki beyitlerde kelime ve kavramlar açıklanmış, nesre çevirilmiş ve çevrilen beyitlerin yorumları ile birlikte şairin beyitlerine benzer olarak başka şairlerden beyitler alınıp örneklendirilmiştir.Gerekli durumlarda kelime ve kavramların açıklanabilmesi ve şiirlerdeki yerinin anlaşılabilmesi için çeşitli kaynaklara başvurulmuştur. Çalışmanın vardığı sonuçlardan hareketle şairin yeni ve orijinal hayaller bulmada oldukça başarılı olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca şairin aşka, içki meclislerine, dini ve tasavvufi değerlere önem verdiği ve döneminde yaşadığı sıkıntılara sıklıkla beyitlerinde işaret ettiği görülmüştür.

The ghazal annotations in the divans of the poets of Divan literature are characterized as a source that allows us to obtain information about the poet in terms of thought, belief, the period he lived, social life, culture, art and poetry. This thesis aims to understand the artistic value of Naşid with the commentaries of some ghazals selected from the Naşid divan; It aims to reveal the world of thought and imagination, as well as to obtain a lot of information about the personality, psychological characteristics and temperament of the poet and to make a contribution in this direction. In the study, firstly, the words and concepts in the couplets in the poet's selected ghazals were explained, translated into prose, and together with the interpretations of the translated couplets, couplets from other poets were taken and exemplified, similar to the poet's couplets. When necessary, various sources were used to explain the words and concepts and to understand their place in the poems. Based on the results of the study, it has been observed that the poet is quite successful in finding new and original dreams. In addition, it has been seen that the poet attaches importance to love, drinking assemblies, religious and mystical values and often points to the troubles he experienced in his period in his couplets.
