Abstract

Düşünen bir insan için dinlemek ve söylemekten daha keyifli bir şey olabilir mi? ? Sokrates Çalışma Kayseri ili Kocasinan ilçesindeki bir Lise ve Dengi okulda 20?si kontrol 20?si deney grubu olmak üzere toplam 40, onuncu sınıf öğrencisiyle yürütülmüştür. Sokratik öğretim yöntemine uygun olarak tasarlanmış kimya derslerinde ?Mol Kavramı ve Avagadro Sayısı? nın öğretilmesine yönelik çalışmalar yapılmış olup, deney grubuna Sokratik öğretim yöntemi temel alınarak ?Mol Kavramı ve Avagadro Sayısı? ile ilgili ders anlatımları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kontrol grubuna ise düz anlatım yöntemi temel alınarak doğrulayıcı ders anlatımları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak ?Mol kavramı ve Avagadro Sayısı? ile ilgili çoktan seçmeli başarı testi geliştirilmiş, öğrencilere ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Sokratik öğretim yöntemiyle, işlenen sınıfta konuların anlaşılması, etkililiği ve dersin amaçlarına ulaşma bakımından klasik yöntemlerle işlenen kontrol sınıflarına göre deneylere göre daha etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. ?For a thinking man what could be more enjoyable than listening and talking?? Socrates Working in a highschool and thedistrict of Kayseri Kocasinan control, almost 20 percent of experimental group of 20 for a total of 40 students were participated in tenth grade. The Socratic method of teaching chemistry courses are designed in accordance with the 'Mole Concept and Avogadro's Number' is made for teaching studies, the experimental group on the basis of the Socratic teaching method were lectures on the number of Avogadro. Confirmatory method based on traditional lectures to the control group were lectures. Data collected using a 'Mole concept and Avogadro's Number' multiple-choice achievement tests developed on the students as a pre-test and post-test was applied. The Socratic method of teaching, understanding of the issues treated in the classroom, in terms of achieving the objectives of the course and the effectiveness of the control classes processed by conventional methods were found to be more effective than experiments.
