The Mediatory Role of Psychological Identification in the Effect of Organizational Identification on Employee Performance
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesinde görev yapmakta olan akademisyenlerin örgütsel özdeşleşmelerinin çalışan performansına etkisi ve psikolojik güçlendirme kavramı ile olan ilişkisi incelenerek kavramlarla ilgili literatüre katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Bu değişkenlerin birbiriyle olan ilişkileri incelenerek psikolojik güçlendirmenin de aracı rolü eklenerek özgün bir model oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmayla ilgili ölçümleme yapabilmek için araştırma verileri anket yöntemi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Veriler araştırma amacına yönelik olarak, Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesinin merkez kampüs ve ilçe meslek yüksekokullarında görev yapmakta olan 322 akademisyenden anket yöntemi aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS 25 paket programı ve Hayes'e ait Process Macro analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilmiş olan bulgulara göre, örgütsel özdeşleşmenin çalışan performansı ve psikolojik güçlendirme üzerinde olumlu ve anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca bu etkide psikolojik güçlendirmenin aracı rolünün olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
In this study, it is aimed to contribute to the literature on the concepts by examining the effect of organizational identifications of academicians working at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University on employee performance and its relationship with the concept of psychological empowerment. By examining the relationships between these variables, a unique model was tried to be created by adding the mediating role of psychological empowerment. In order to measure the research, the research data were obtained by using the survey method. The data were obtained from 322 academicians working in the main campus and district vocational schools of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University through the survey method for the purpose of the research. SPSS 25 package program and Hayes' Process Macro analysis were used in the analysis of the data obtained. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, it was determined that organizational identification had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and psychological empowerment. In addition, it has been determined that psychological empowerment has a mediating role in this effect.
