Abstract

Bu araştırma kültürel, toplumsal, siyasal ve eğitim alanında eserler vermiş, çok yönlü bir mütefekkir olan Seyit Ahmet Arvasi'nin devlet ve eğitimle ile ilgili görüş ve önerilerinin araştırılmasını amaçlamaktadır. Bu yüzden öncelikle hayatı, eserleri ile devlet kavramının tarihsel gelişimi ve eğitimin tanımı üzerinde duruldu. Sonra Arvasi'nin devlet ve eğitim anlayışı ele alındı.Arvasi, hukukun üstünlüğüne inanmış, yetkisini milli iradeden almış, memleket meselelerini, ilmi ve akademik veriler ışığında çözüme kavuşturmak isteyen kadrolardan oluşan bir devletten bahsetmektedir.Kalkınmış ve mutlu bir toplum olmanın yolu da şüphesiz ki eğitimden geçmektedir. Bunu sağlayacak olan da devlettir. Arvasi, eğitim işini, insanlara uygun bir şekilde tanzim etmek, uzun, kısa, orta dönemli planlara-programlara bağlamak ancak devlet yoluyla olabilir düşüncesindedir. Haliyle devlet-eğitim ilişkisi böyle hayati bir noktadan doğar ve kopmaz bir şekilde birbirine bağlı olarak devam eder.Düşünürümüz, eğitim planlamasında bir toplumun çok değişik yönlerden kendi içyapısının, bireysel farklılıklarının dikkate alınmasını ve eğitim çalışmalarının çağdaş ve bilimsel ölçütleri göz önünde bulunduran kadrolar gözetiminde yürütülmesini öngörmektedir.Arvasi yazar ve düşünür olmakla beraber, aynı zamanda bir öğretmen olduğundan devlet ve eğitim üzerine birçok makalesi ve köşe yazıları da bulunmaktadır. Arvasi'nin devlet ve eğitim anlayışı tahlil edilerek, eğitim sistemimizin karşı karşıya olduğu problemlere çözümler üretilebilir, teklifler getirilebilir. Onun bu bakış açıları bu kabil pek çok çözümü, teklifi içermektedir. Bu çalışmada bunların bir kısmına değinilmiştir.Milletlerin fikir, felsefe, sanat, devlet adamlığı gibi çeşitli sahalarda iftihar edebileceği büyük şahsiyetler her zaman olagelmiştir. Türk milleti şüphesiz bu yönden çok zengin bir tarihe sahiptir. Arvasi' de bunlardan biridir. Hayatıyla, çalışmalarıyla hep bu misyonu yerine getirme yolunda olmuştur. Şu çalışmamız bunu belirli bir açıdan ortaya koyma çabasıdır.The Understandings Of Seyyid Ahmet Arvasi About The State And Education.This research covers the opinions and suggestions of Seyit Ahmet Arvasi on state and educational subjects.Firstly, Arvasi?s biography, his works, the historical development of state concept and the definition of education were focused on in order to reveal the Arvasi?s opinions about the state and education . After that, Arvasi?s understanding of state and education was examined.Arvasi mentions about a state which defends the superiority of law, takes its authority from national volition which consists of a special staff willing to solve the problems with scientific and academic verifications.Being a developed and wealthy society depends on education, certainly. State is the one which has to provide this situation . Arvasi, thinks that only the State can organise short and long term objectives of education and it can also arrange the education for the society. Naturally, he implies that the relationship of the state and education borns at this point and continues permanently.Our intellectual, argues that the structural and individual differences in a society must be considered while the education plans are being formed. In addition to this, he wants the education studies to be carried out by a staff who takes the contemporary and scientific criterias into account.Arvasi is not only an author and thinker, he?s also a teacher; so, he has a great deal of articles on state and education. After analyzing his understanding about education; his opinions and suggestions to solve the problems in our education system are studied.There has always been great people who have been admired by nations on philosophy, art and politics. Doubtlessly, Turkish Nation is very rich in this aspect .Arvasi is the one who has dedicated himself to Turkish wisdom with his ideas. And his thoughts are going to be very basic structure of the reconstruction on our society.
