Abstract
Bu araştırmada 6 ve 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin çoklu zekâ gelişimi üzerine sosyal ve kültürel çevrenin etkisi incelenmiştir. Anneiro tarafından hazırlanan çoklu zekâ anketi ile kişisel bilgileri ölçmek için tarafımızca oluşturulan anket, Van ilinde düşük ve yüksek olarak belirlenen sosyal çevrelerde bulunan ilköğretim okullarındaki toplam 446 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ankette elde edilen cevaplar yapılan frekans tabloları ve chi-kare analizleri doğrultusunda sonuca varılarak araştırma tamamlanmıştır.Düşük sosyal çevre ile yüksek sosyal çevrede yaşayan öğrencilerin çoklu zekâ gelişimleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca sosyo-kültürel öğelerin de öğrencilerdeki çoklu zekâ gelişiminde etkili olduğu saptanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler:Çoklu zekâ, Sosyal ve kültürel çevre, Fen eğitimi
In this study, the effects of social and cultural environment on the improvement of multiple mentality of the 6th and 7th class students are examined. The multiple mentality survey prepared by Anneiro and our survey that measures personal information are applied to 446 primary school students in regions those defined as low and high social environments in Van. The survey was completed towards the answers obtained from surveys, frequancy tables and chi-square analysis.It is ascertained that there is a significant difference between the multiple mentality development of students from low social environments and high social environments. It is understood that socio-cultural elements are also influetnial on the development of multiple mentality development of students.Key words: Multiple mentality, Social and cultural environment, Science teaching
