Current Si̇tuati̇on Analysi̇s of Beykoz Monument Trees

Abstract

Doğal ve kültürel mirasın bir öğesi olan anıt ağaçlar; yaşam sürecinde, temsil ettikleri tür ve bulundukları yetişme ortamının özelliklerine göre, büyüyüp gelişen, zaman içinde farklı yaş ve boyutlara ulaşarak, alışılmışın ötesinde uzun süre yaşayarak, kültürümüzde ve tarihimizde özel yeri bulunan, geçmiş, günümüz ve gelecek arasında iletişim sağlayabilecek uzunlukta doğal ömre sahip ağaçlar 'anıt ağaç' niteliği kazananlardır. Anıt ağaçlar, bilimsel olduğu kadar, manevi özellikleri açısından da değerlidirler. İstanbul ili Beykoz ilçesinde, geçmişten gelen heybetleri ve hikâyeleri ile dikkat çeken anıtlaşmış anıt ağacı bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada belediye tarafından kayıt altına alınan ağaçların mevcut durumu incelendikten sonra bu ağaçların bölgedeki kentlinin belleğindeki yeri belirlenmiştir. Sahip oldukları farklı boyutları ve görkemi ile kişiyi psikolojik olarak etkileyen bu ağaçlar zaman zaman etrafına neden oldukları tehlikelerden dolayı kesilerek tahrip edilmekte veya yanlış kullanım ve bakım nedeniyle kurumaktadırlar.Kent belleğinde yeri belirlenen anıt ağaçların mevcut durumuna yönelik koruma politikaları önerirmiştir. Yaprak ve toprak örneği alınarak eksik makro ve mikro elementler belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma genetik materyal olduğu kadar kültürel bir materyal olan bölgenin anıtlaşmış ağaçlarına sahip çıkmak, korumak ve gelecek nesillere aktarmak doğa sevgisinin, çevre bilincinin oluşmasına hizmet edecektir

Monumental trees that are an element of natural and cultural heritage; Trees that grow and develop, reach different ages and dimensions over time, have a special place in our culture and history, and have a long natural life that can communicate between the past, the present and the future, according to the species they represent and the characteristics of the habitat, They are the ones who acquire the 'memorial tree' qualification. Monumental trees are valuable for their spiritual characteristics as well as scientific ones. In the Beykoz district of Istanbul, there is a monumental tree that draws attention with its majesty and stories from the past. In the study, after examining the current situation of the trees registered by the municipality, the place of these trees in the town of the city dweller in the region was determined. These trees, which affect the person psychologically with their different sizes and splendor, are sometimes cut and destroyed due to the dangers they cause around them or dry up due to improper use and care. He suggested conservation policies for the current state of monumental trees in the city. The missing macro and micro elements were determined by taking a leaf and soil sample. This study will serve to create love for nature and environmental awareness, protecting, protecting and transmitting to future generations the monumental trees of the region, which are a cultural material as well as genetic material.
