A Study on Ornithofauna of the Nehil Marshes Yüksekova (Hakkari)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Nehil Sazlığı ve yakın çevresinde bulunan kuş türleri araştırıldı. Kuşların sayımında Dobinson Metodu kullanıldı.Bir yıl boyunca süren gözlemler sonucu 40 familyaya ait 122 tür ve 2 alttür tespit edildi. Bu türlerin % 24,2 (30) Yerli, % 69,3 (86) Göçmen, % 3,25 (4) Kış ziyaretçisi, % 3,25 (4) Transit Göçer olduğu belirlendi. Red Data Book Statülerine göre 14 türün A.1.2, 25 türün A.2, 33 türün A.3, 14 türün A.3.1, 12 türün A.4, 18 türün A.5, 1 türün B.1.2, 2 türün B.2, 1 türün B.3.1 ve 4 türün B.5 statüsünde olduğu saptandı. IUCN kriterlerine göre 118 türün LC, 3 türün NT, 2 türün EN, 1 türün VU statüsünde olduğu görüldü.Anahtar kelimeler: Nehil Sazlığı, Ornitofauna, Kuşlar, Yüksekova, Sulakalan

In the present study the bird species living in the Nehil Marshes were investigated. Dobinson?s Method was used for counting of birds.122 species and 2 subspecies belonging to 40 families were identified during about a year of observation period. These species were classified as follows % 24,2 (30) resident, % 69,3 (86) migrant, % 3,25 (4) winter visitor and % 3,25 (4) transit migratory species. According to the Red Data Book, 14 species are in A.1.2, 25 species are in A.2, 33 species are in A.3, 14 species are in A.3.1, 12 species are in A.4, 18 species are in A.5, 1 species is in B.1.2, 2 species are in B.2, 1 species is in B.3.1 and 4 species are in B.5 status. According to the IUCN criteria, 118 species were determined to be in LC, 3 species in NT, 2 species in EN, 1 species in VU status.Key words: Nehil Marshes, Ornithofauna, Birds, Yüksekova, Wetland
