Investigation of the Elctronic and Optic Properties of the Cscl Crysal by Dft Method
Abstract
ABINIT paket programı yardımıyla Genelleştirilmiş Gradyent Yaklaşımına dayanan Yoğunluk Fonksiyoneli Teorisi kullanılarak CsCl kristalinin elektronik yapısı ve optik özellikleri incelendi. Bu bileşiğin yapısal optimizasyonu yapıldı. Elde edilen örgü parametreleri deneysel sonuçlarla karşılaştırıldı. CsCl kristalinin hesaplanan bant yapısı, Brillouin bölgesinde direk olmayan bant aralığına sahip olduğu görüldü. 0-30 eV foton enerji aralığında CsCl kristalinin optik spektrumu incelendi. CsCl kristalinin Optik özellikleri, foton enerjisinin fonksiyonu olarak hesaplandı. The electronic structure and optical properties of CsCl crystal are investigated using Density Functional Theory based on generalized gradient approximation by ABINIT package program. The structural optimization of this compound has been performed. The obtained lattice parameters have been compared with the experimental results. The calculated band structure shows that the CsCl crystal has indirect band gap in the Brillouin zone. The optical properties of CsCl crystal in the photon energy range up to 0-30 eV are investigated. The optical properties of CsCl crystal as a function of the photon energy have been calculated.
